Kelly's Review, July 25th
What an amazing night, not your everyday average bar, offers much more, comedy, live music, quirky fun interior, very laid back and its only going to get better the more established it gets, definitely the place to go for a night all about good food, few drinks and more importantly for a good time and a lot of laughter.
Les's Review, October 26th
Had my partners 40th birthday here on Saturday night and everything was just perfect! The staff are so friendly and helpful, the space is amazing and accommodated the sound superb, a great selection of draughts, bottles and spirits and everyone commented on how cool the place was. Thanks to everyone for a superb night, honestly couldn't have asked for anymore.
Laurels: The Ultimate Entertainment Venue
A Theatre // Bars // Lounge
After the success of our Tapas Bar and Entertainment Venue in Blyth, we are proud to announce our big lass in Whitley Bay. Named after and in honour of Stan Laurel, whose father ran theatres on the North East coast, where he first tread the boards.
Founded by award-winning theatre producer Jamie Eastlake and writer and filmmaker Stephen Robertson, Laurels aims to provide a hub for artists and socialites alike along the North East coast.
With live theatre, visual arts and comedy coming to life in our theatre space, and steins doing the rounds in our bar - we aim to bring the folk of the bay together. Allowing everyone an opportunity to access art and delicious cocktails, in a chilled out, accessible space.
As Brian Potter once said: "The future is everything under one roof".
